About Your Guide
Salty Dog Kayak Rentals Owner Sarah Phinney will lead you on your adventure at Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park.
She’s led 50+ tours across the Tampa Bay area, through open water, narrow spaces, and rivers with alligators.
Keeping you safe is Sarah’s top priority. She is an American Canoe Association Certified Level 2 Kayaking Instructor and is certified by the Red Cross in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
All guests are required to wear life jackets throughout the duration of the tour. Additionally, each guest will receive a walkie-talkie to hear the tour. It also serves as an easy way to get in touch with Sarah if you are having any issues.
